Looking for remaining Book or Booke family from Lancashire Area.My father was born Thomas Book to Edwin Book and Sarah Turner 12/1/1896 in Pendleton,Salford,Lancashire UK. He had three brothers and two sisters.Family was raised in an orphanage except for the youngest(Emily).Emily was raised by the mother's family .Two brothers remained in UK. One brother had a family(believed to have died in the late 1950's or early 1960's) and his wife or daughter's name was Rhoda or Rhonda. The other,J. Booke(name spelled with e on the end), died in WW1 with the Royal North Lancashire Regiment.Two sisters and a brother immigrated to Canada (Emma,Ted, and Emily. Brother Ted in Canada also spelled his name Booke.My father immigrated to the USA illegally as a British Merchant Seaman before being natualized (hence the name Brooks). My dad also served on the HMS Carpathia that was sent to rescue the Titanic. I am trying to locate remaining family and to trace the origins of my grandfather(Edwin Book). Are their any Book,Booke or Turner family members out in cyberspace that can help me or remember???
