I am seeking my great-great grandfather's WOODS family.
He was Bernard Woods, born ca. 1846 in or near Keady, Armagh.
He went to Newcastle on Tyne, married (nee Dorothy Taylor from South Shields) and sometime after the birth of his second child (Sarah) late in 1871, he left to USA. He settled in Lonaconing MD, a coal mining community. My grandfather, Patrick was born there in 1876. Any one who has knowledge of the Woods family in and around Armagh and Keady, I would welcome correspondence.
