Looking for info on the Keogh/Keough/Kehoe families that migrated to Newfoundland in the early 1800s. In particular Silvester Keogh who was granted land in Ferryland, NFL around 1840. I am not 100% sure but Wexford may be where they came from. I was told that the men returned to Ireland to marry and to baptize their babies. The Keoughs came to NFLD around the same time as their Ferryland neighbors, the Currans, Murphys and Farrells. Any help in making the connection from Newfoundland to Ireland would be appreciated.
