hi,
I'm looking for descendants of Patrick Ledwitch and Mary McDermott. any spelling of Ledwitch (Ledwidge, Ledwedge, etc) particularly of Co. Kildare, but anywhere is ok-the name seems to be a rare one.
my husband's ancestry is that of Patrick Ledwitch of Kilcock Parish, Co. Kildare, married Mary McDermott. they had
Margaret 1841, Bridget 1843 m. James Mulloy in 1867, Mary 1846, Catherine 1848, Peter 1852 m. Elizabeth McElvoy (aka Louisa McAvoy) in 1880, to America (our line), Patrick 1855 m. Bridget McCann and Ann 1860 m. Patrick Monahan in 1874.
