I am looking for any info. on the name Govouch.I have an ancester by the name of Alexander Govouch born in 1681 Ireland,I do not know where in Ireland he was born.He married Mary A.Peyton born 1685, place unknown.They had a son named James McGuffey born 1707 Agusta,Virginia.U.S.A.
Alexander died in 1769 Agusta,Virginia. United States.
Does anyone know anything about the name GOVOUCH ? Its origin,Irish ? Scotish ? Any info. is appreciated.
