I am looking for any information on William KENNY b. abt 1767 in Ireland. William KENNY married Jane HAMILTON and they had several children born in Ireland. The children I know of were Arthur KENNY b. about 1802; John Hamilton KENNY b. abt 1806; Edward KENNY b. 1808; Michael KENNY b. 1811; William KENNY b. 1812; David Henry KENNY b. 1815; Mary Ann KENNY b. 3 Aug 1816; George KENNY b. 1817; Thomas W. KENNY b. 1819; Valentine KENNY b. 1826; Jane KENNY b. 1827 and Margaret KENNY b. 20 Dec 1830. My direct line is through Valentine KENNY.

This family emigrated to Ontario Canada (although I'm still uncertain if William Kenny, the father, died prior to emigration or came to Canada as well. Jane HAMILTON KENNY died 1 Aug 1844 in Ontario and left a will which did not include any mention of her husband.

Family stories tell of strong involvement in the Orange Lodge near their Canadian home. It is said that there was a document naming and Orange Order in Ireland as well, but naturally it has disappeared or someone was mistaken. Does this help pinpoint the area they may have come from? County Mayo is the main name being tossed around, but I don't know if the Orange Order was active outside of Northern Ireland or not. I need help.

Thanks in advance,
