I am trying to find any information on my gggg grandfather, James Lawlor. All I know is that he was born in 1788 or 1789. He was a Roman Catholic. He was a limeburner by trade. He came to Saint John, NB Canada sometime before 1822. On May 18, 1822 he married Mary Riely (? Spelling of last name). They had 5 children. In his obituary all that was stated was that he was from Carlow, Ireland. There was no mention of any family, parents, brothers, sisters etc, what so ever. James died on April 7, 1861. Mary was from Tyrone. She was born about 1791/1792 and died Feb 7, 1870.
I don't know if Mary travelled with any of her family or was by herself. If anyone can help me I would be forever grateful.
