I am looking for any information on the Coyneen family of
either Mohill parish, Leitrim.....Boyle, Rosscommon or Sligo
Leitrim.....These are the only places I have found the Coyneen
spelling....my greatgrandparents were Michael Coyneen and
Honora Beirne....they had at least 1 child Catharine Coyneen
who married John O'Connell around 1850 in New Haven, CT USA
They may have come into Boston first....I think the family
may have ties to the Nortons, Cox's and Glynn's.....
