Where is/was "the tiny hamlet of Wigtown, Antrim, NI"? My ancestor James Greer said to be of County Antrim, son of John Greer of the same place, emigrated from Ireland to USA in 1772. The Greers, originally from Newton, Scotland, while in Ireland are said to have "huddled together around the tiny hamlet of Wigtown." I have seen a Wintown Road in Dublin.
