Hi, I'm looking for information about Mary Elizabeth Wallace
born Ahoghill County, @ 1838? She married James Balfour Black in Ahoghill, then came to Australia. She was supposedly well educated, spoke many languages, and "ran away" from Ireland after the marriage. This info came from a very old relative shortly before her death, so must be taken with a grain of salt, but the names are correct. Would love to hear from any one who may be able to help me.
