Looking for info on John Woods prior to 1758 from County Down, Ireland or Downe Patrick. He had a son by the name of Joseph Woods who married a women by the name of Elizabeth. Joseph and Elizabeth had 4 sons and a possible daughter. The 4 sons are Joseph, Thomas, James, and Robert.
Joseph was a sea captain and died in the West Indies. Robert was born 08-15-1758 in County Down and left Ireland for America on June 1, 1784
