Marie Potts requires information on a Mary Jane MORAN, who married Sargeant Henry KEVEY, Queen Victoria 68th Regiment, stationed at Army Barricks, New plymouth, NEW ZEALND 1865 or thereabouts.
Mary Jane Moran was from Rosscommon County, Ireland. Were they married in Ireland or England, and on what boat did they emmigate to New Zealand. We are not sure if they were actually married at the time of their embarkation.
Color Sargeant Henry Kevey was involved with British regimental skirmishes with Taranaki maoris during the 1860's.
Anby information on these two people and their lives and connections in Ireland would be greatly appreciated.
