I am researching my paternal Killen ancestry from Liverpool back to Co Down in Ireland. My gt.gt.grandparents were John Killen and Ann McLoughlin. He was a blacksmith. The family story goes that either his mother, or possibly grandmother, was a French lady who went to Ireland from France at the time of the Revolution. I would be so pleased to hear from anyone who has Killen ancestors in Co Down, and in particular Newry.
