I am looking for info on my grandad and his family who originate from Belfast. His name was Frederick Nicholl and he was born around 1903 (we are not sure on his exact age as he may have lied about it to get into the army), and his mother had 3 husbands and alot of children! He spent 11 years of his army career in India and came to Carlisle where he met my nana, Ada Rafferty. They married and had 3 children together, William (Bill), Maxine and Lynn. He died about 33 years ago. We know he had a sister and also a brother who died young and to whom there was a mystery surrounding.
