I am searching for more information on John James Byrne. According to family legend John emigrated to America from Ireland when he was 19 years old. John dropped the O' from in front of his name so his name would sound more scottish. This was his way of being able to find work with less hassle at that time period. Also according to family legend John came from Wicklow, just south of Dublin. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
