SHARKEY, Mark, Mathew born 10th March 1876 in Galway? He died on the 12th September 1935 and we know that he served with the Connaught Rangers. On the Death certificate it states that death was attributable 'due to gun shot wounds sustained in September 1918 whilst on active service'. He also served in Mesopatania but which Battalion is not known. His wifes maiden name was O'Rourke btu not much more known. He is my Grandfather and I am trying to establish where he was born. Any help appreciated.
