I am looking for connections to my ggrandfather. His name was James Sherlock, born 5/3/1870 in County Cork, Ireland to William Sherlock, mothers name unknown. He came to the US. probably in the mid to late 1880's. He resided in Philadelphia, Pa. and then later Camden, NJ. He also had a brother Michael that came to the US. James married Mary Boland, born 1869, Dublin. They had 14 children, 7 died. 6 of the children were born in Pa. They were: James, 1896, Patrick, 1900, Andrew, Mary V., Anne, 1903, John. Helen was born 1913 in Camden, NJ.
If there is anyone researching Sherlocks from this area, I would love to hear from you.
