THOMPSON--Looking for information on my Scotch-Irish gggggf, JOHN THOMPSON that sailed from Northern Ireland in 1750.
He landed in New York and then headed south with a group headed by the Quaker, William Penn.
Settled in North Carolina in c.1752, married a woman with the last name of WOODY. Stayed in NC and had 9 children.
Looking for any leads on where JOHN THOMPSON might have come from in Ireland..possible siblings of John's etc.
