McEWAN/STEWART
I am trying to trace decendants of or information about Francis McEwan b.c1820 Ireland he was married to Eliza m/n Mawaugh? and they had at least one son Henry McEwan born 1842 Ireland Henry moved to Glasgow about 1860 where he married Elizabeth Stewart in 1863. They had 8 children. George Wilson 1879, David 1877, Elizabeth 1876, Henry 1873, William 1870, Allan 1868, James 1867 & Francis 1864. Henry & Elizabeth both worked in the carpet weaving trade as did the eldist children.
