Looking for more info on William McAfee Sr.(or McDuffee)
b. 1777 who married Margaret "Martha" Taggart b. 1780
in Co. Antrim in 1802. [McAfee and McDuffee are interchangeable in Northern Ireland.] They lived in the
area of Ballymagarry and West Park, Dunluce Parish, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland. They were Presbyterians and farmers.
They emigrated along with their children to Sugar Creek Township, Wayne Co, Ohio, USA in 1838. Probably entered
through the Port of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Their children include:
Samuel McAfee b. 12/25/1804 who married Grace Stinson.
James McAfee b. 1809 who m. Rachel Dinsmore of Ballywatt at 1st Ballymoney Presbyterian in 1837.
Martha Jane McAfee b. 1810-14 who m. John McQuigg
Robert McAfee b. 1822
William McAfee Jr. b. 1821
Mathew McAfee b. 1823
