We have been searching for a long time for a William MARTIN b. 1843 in Ireland and a Mary Jones b.
Bagillt Wales 1850 ( according to the 1881 uk Census). They were married and lived in Tottys Row,
Holywell, Flintshire. In 1881 they had a daughter named Ellen MARTIN b. 1876. The family Moved to
the North East of England were Ellen MARTIN married a Enoch HUGHES. They were Joan's
Great grand Parents
grand mother.
Everything is well documented till we get to the marriage of
William MARTIN and Mary JONES whose Marriage certificate is needed so
that we can identify there fathers name.
We can find a dozen or more Mary JONES that fall within the date
scale but no corresponding William MARTIN.We now think the marriage may have taken place in Ireland.If any one researching the
Jones family can help us find this marriage we sure could use some help
