Hello, I am trying to find information on one James Alexander SHAW born on the 16/11/1828 in Liverpool, England.
James married in Newcastle, NSW, Australia on the 22/03/1855 to one Jane Eliza WELHAM.
James was a Sea Captain travelling back and forth from Aust to England.
I cannot for the life of me find his birth in Liverpool (have friends helping )nor his death here in Australia.
He captained the ships: TIMARU, WHITE ROSE & UDSTON, if anyone out there could shed some light on this mysterious man I would greatly appreciate it..He is my 3xG-Grandfather.
