I am still looking for any information concerning either of my birth parents and forbears.
I was born on the 11th May, 1940 and formerly adopted by William Charles and Edith Doris GREEN on 3rd April, 1941 at the Court House Harrogate, England.
I have been able to discover the name of my Birth Mother.
She is Joyce Laura GRANT nee Dobbin residing at 10 Compton Court, Victoria Crescent SE.19. She was married to John Alexander Grant. I was actually born at 30 Alleyn Park, Dulwich.
I am now 62 and realise this is a long shot. But since I am now married and have three chldren of my own with grandchildren, I would like to be able to fill in some of the blanks on my side of the family for their own satisfaction. I am not wishing to intrude on anyone, and am not seeking any material interest in my family. But I would be so glad to know anything that might help ME to at last come to terms with my origins. After all I might have brothers and sisters somewhere still living.
