VIOLET ('Vi') MAY!!
Looking for Violet May (Elson or Hughes - or maybe something else by now!). "Vi" would currently be aged about 76 and was born 18 December 1926 in or around the Herriard, Basingstoke, Hampshire area. Her maiden name was Violet May Hughes. Her mother was Sarah Jane(Fosbury) Hughes. Her father was Welsh or of Welsh origins. 'Vi' had a sister called Flo who married Dan Smith. One of her brothers was called Tom. She has or had thick, curly dark brown/black hair and brown or hazel eyes. About 5 feet 4 inches tall. She married 'Bob Elson' on 29 March 1948 in Old Basing. Her son 'George' was born in 1950. Vi suffered from epilepsy. She left home in 1953/4 and hasn't been seen since. Her son George was eventually adopted by his aunt and uncle (SMITH)and now lives in New Zealand and has a 20 year old daughter ('VI's' grandaughter). George changed his name back to Elson and would love to know if Vi is still alive and whether or not he has any half brothers or sisters. Contact email address.
