Can any one help in my search for my birth father BILL DAVIES please.He was a soldier from Cumberland and was boren in 1920/7.He met my mother MURIEL JACKSON while she was serving in the Womens Land Army which she joined in April 1945.She was billeted to Mortimer Berkshire and met BILL .They fell in love and made plans for a life together.Sadly BILL was reported to have died in an accident early in 1946.It was shortly after that MURIEL found she was pregnant and i was born in Manchester on 31/10/1946.If anyone has any knowledge of Muriel or Bill please email me on michaelacton587@msn.com or telephone 01273 682963
