I have a Jacob Anderson (Andersen ?) born about 1838 in Norway.Ran away from home about 1848 and stowed away ending up in Fenwick/near Beal in Northumberland.He married a lady from Fenwick,first name Dorothy.They had two children that I know of.Anne born 1867 in South Shields/Durham and Charles,born 1873 in South Shields.
Jacob worked as a Coal Trimmer and in the 1881 census lived at 67 Campbell Street/South Shields.If anyone could give me any information before this date it would be greatly appreciated.
