looking for any info on my Mothers family.
Her name is Dorothy/Doris Wood born around 1915.Adopted,then given up at the age of eight and put in a Waif and Stray orphange St Chads...We have no records of the adoption or be placed in St Chads.Nobody is any help .Where do I start looking with so little to go on.
