I am a descendant of Charles McFarlane who was born in/around Glascow in 1809 and came to Australia around1831 & married Elizabeth Welsh. His parents were James McFarlane & Elizabeth McFarlane nee Honor. I suspect he may have been transported as a convict under the name of McFearns/McFerron and would like to clear this mystery up. Any help would be appreciated.
