RUTHERFORDS in NEWHAVEN, Scotland: A coupla years or so ago, a Canadian lady on holiday in Scotland visited the little Newhaven Museum. She talked to the attendants and gave them some papers with details of some of her family history, especially the Rutherford family in Newhaven. These sheets were pointed out to me when I visited this same museum last year (2001) and I realise that the Canadian and I are researching the same family !! I have now got fairly detailed results of ancestors & their siblings
back to the 1600s and would like to share them with my (distant) relative. Does anyone out there in Canada KNOW WHO THIS LADY IS ?? Could anyone alert her so that I can get in touch ? Does anyone else have connections to the Newhaven Rutherfords ?? I live in Scotland & could maybe help YOU.......
