I am searching for a REDDEN family that married in Greenock on Nov 26 1854; James Redden and Susans Tonar. They had at least 6 children in Greenock, the last in 1868. By the 1881 census I cannot locate either James or Susan and their children are scattered. One is in an orphange and the other 3 I could locate were boarders at different homes.
My question: Is there a newspaper in Greenock that I could search for an untimely death? It appears that something may have happened to both James and Susan, since their children are scattered.
Any help greatly appreciated.
