My mother(Isabella Crichton)was born in Scotland in 1891 and I am trying to research her family background, particularly my maternal grandparents, etc. Her father was Alexander Crichton who married Isabella Steele McAra. Whose parents were William McAra and Grace Watson. I am trying to determine various event dates and ancestors earlier than those listed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
