I am a Genealogy Newbie and am searching for information on my Great-Grandmothers side.
I am told my Great Grandmother (Charlotte Livingstone b-1895) was born with the last name 'Doag'.
I am also told she was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. I believe she immigrated to Canada sometime between 1910-1920 (large time frame, but it's all I have)
She may have been pregnant when she left Scotland (unwed) or may have already given birth to a Boy (Douglas Forbes Allen - the last name is from my Great Grandfather whom she married soon after her immigration.
I have so little to go on, but I am hoping this gibberish may sound familiar to someone?
