EILEEN McCARTHY - looking for my birth of mother of this name.
I was bron 27.11.54 in Dewsbury, Yorks. My mother came from Belfast and stay in St Katherine's Hostel before my birth. Her father was a regimental sergeant major - but I don't know which regiment.
My birth father was called ......Oliver (I think). I was adopted by Rev Robin Owen and his wide Kathleen from Huddersfield and the adoption was helped by Canon Rex Clarke.
I believe that I have half-brother who were living in Belfast and I would love information on any family members.
I had a very good life with my adoptive parents, always knew that I was adopted and now have adult children of my own. We can assure you that no pressure will be put on my birth family but would dearly love to hear from you.
