Looking for information on my ggrandfather, Matthew Lawless, b May 17, 1832. He came from Dublin, Ireland, but we are not sure if he was from Dublin, or if that was the point of departure. He came to USA May 1, 1845 (13 yrs old). He had two brothers (no name or ages), and parents (no names at present). His first wife was Jane C. Rathbun (married in 1860), had son John Lawless. Became US citizen Oct. 14, 1868. Second wife was Alice Louise Hood (married Sept 25, 1870. Matthew died Feb. 28, 1911 in Springfield Center, NY. I would appreciate any help you might give.
