I am looking for information about my 5th ggrandfather and his family when he was in Ireland. His name was Conner O'Dowd although he dropped the O when he came to the states. From information I have been able to gather so far, he was born about 1710 in Cootehill, County Caven. Another source just says Northern Ireland. He came to the states about 1754 and setteled in North Carolina, married and had 10 children. I would be interested in any information before he came here. I have alot of information I would be more than happy to share. I have from Conner right up till present. Any help would be greatly apprecitated.
