I'm looking for info on family of Bartholomew McEwan/McEwen/McKeown/McKeon/McKaon, etc., married to Bridget Mulherron/Mulherrow? born latter half 18th cent. probably in Ireland.
One son Matthew born 1800/1 probably Ireland; Married 1846 (Lanarkshire,Scotland) to Mary Welsh possibly Irish and perhaps, given his age, his second marriage.
Their Son Patrick born 1852/3 (Lanarkshire,Scotland) married in 1875 to Mary Ann Stanfield born Ireland 1853/4
Their son John born 1889 (Lanarkshire) married 1913 to Mary Carr born 1890, possibly in Ireland. No doubt there were more siblings in each generation though as yet I haven't found them. If any of these names sound familiar, please get in touch. Thanks
