Looking for information and Scottish cousins from the MURPHY and TRAYNOR families, formerly of Paisley. The MURPHY's lived at 43 Broomlands, and worked at Robert Brown and Sons Ferguslie Fireclay Works, Paisley around 1915. Annie and Lily emigrated to New Jersey, sailing from Glasgow. Jack died in a naval battle during the war and Mary and Matt stayed in Scotland.
John TRAYNOR emigrated to the US in 1911 through the port of Glasgow and sent for Annie MURPHY, whom he had known in Scotland. She followed him and they married in Newark NJ after the war. They had two children, both now dead. |
