Here is an amendment to my message posted 9th June
I am looking for my natural mother but know very little about her. I was born in Pontefract West Yorkshire, on 23rd February 1968,I believe she wanted to call me Darryl, my mother was about 18 when I was born and training to be a doctor. Her father (my grandfather) was also a village doctor in Pontefract.
I was adopted when I was only a few weeks old by a family from Sheffield and I have been told my natural mother wrote a letter which was to be given to me when I was at an age when I could understand. Unfortunately the letter was distroyed
before I had the chance to read it.
Surely someone must recognise these details.
