Trying to research the family tree of my mother.
My mothers grandfather, Patrick Gallagher, was married in West Derby in 1889 to Mary Wignall. He was born approximately 1856/69, in Swinford, County Mayo. His father was John Gallagher. I am stuck there! Patrick is believed to have a sister called Kate (?Katherine/Kathleen) brother called Martin and possibly a brother called John.
Patrick and Mary had a daughter, Mary born approx 1893 in West Derby and then a son in 1900, Christopher, my grandfather. The whole family were known to be living in Salford by 1901. Can anybody anywhere help, please???!!
