I am doing research on my SMITH line and would like to contact family left behind when Jane Elizabeth GOLIGHTLY Smith (b 1815) came to America with three of her 8 children. She was married to William SMITH b 1 Jun 1806 who died of injuries from a fall off a horse (d 1858). He owned an tavern in the area of Thorpe, Durham, England. My aunts Olive DAUGHERTY and Jessie Smith PEIRSON have visited this family but I have been unable to get any contact info of any kind. Jessie has since died and I have not been able to make contact with Aunt Olive. Would love to reestablish a relationship with my distant cousins in England. Robert's children were Harry, Fay, William, Floss, and Mabel. Some other family names were Jenni, Marjorie Krugengton, Maud Davies, Nan, Alfred, and Elsie.
