I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME I AM TRIING TO TRACE MY GRANDFATHER AND G GRAANDPARENT.
ALL I KNOW IS MY GRANDFATHERS NAME IS WILLIAM DAVID WILLIAMSON BUT HE WAS KNOWN AS DAVY HE WAs born 22-1-1891, we have been told he did most of his schooling in wales and joined the army ww1 and got injured in his side. we can find nothing on his birth or his parents in scotland so we think he most have been born in england or wales. we also know he wrote to a brother in wales for a lot of years but we do not know his names. on his marriage lines his father was a john williamson and his mother was a jean macfarlane.
john was a master mariner and that is all i know. if anyone can help me i would be very greatful.please email me with any help or ideas thank you jackie |
