I have being trying for 6 years now to find any little bit of information on my father DAVID BROOK.I am at the point of giving up even though I read stories of others saying not to.so here goes maybe for the last time.
david brook lived in HORSFORTH LEEDS as far as I know in and around 1961-2. he was at the time 19-20 and went out with a girl called CAROL INGLE who had a younger sister . carol (my mother ) was 17 when I was born in HARROGATE gen. hospital on the 1st april 1962,
DAVID was an apprentice joiner and they both went to a secondary modern school in horsforth prior to my birth .Does anybody remember them ?.
I have made contact with my mothers family but to no avail. I had left it too long!!!!!!!!
I know my mother has more info than I can give you ,but I promised not to contact them again and to let them live their own lives.
so now you know as much as me .
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME THE SLIGHTEST INKLING TO PUSH ME ON A LITTLE FURTHER AS THIS IS CONSTANTLY ON MY MIND AND AS TIME GOES BY THERE IS LESS TIME FOR ME TO BE RE-UNITED AND FOR MY DAD TO MEET HIS DAUGHTER IN LAW AND 3 GRAND KIDS
