Looking for any relatives of the CURRY family from WATERSIDE, LONDONDERRY.
My Dad James Basil Vernon Curry (known as Basil) born May 1926 to Mother Annie (Franchion born 1901), Father unknown. She lived with her sisters Minnie, Violet, Alice, Margaret,Daisy, Charlotte (Lottie) & Lillian and her brother William and parents William James and Fanny (Franchion) at 10 Bonds Place Waterside. I believe the family still lived there at least till the late 1970s. Annie later moved to Peterhead, Scotland where she married a James Duffy and acquired a daughter Marion.She died in April 1973.
I believe Minnie married a Mr Gibson and moved to Pontefract.
Violet married George Heath - lived in Drumahoe.
William married Jean Parks.
Alice married a George?
Lillian a Jim Bakewell?
Margaret may have been unmarried and stayed at Bond Place.
Dad came to Birmingham in the 50s and never really went home so I've never met any of my Irish family and would love to know where they are! Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks |
