My husbands Grandmother was a British Home Child.
Kathleen Louisa BELL born 1922 to George Thomas BELL & Gladys (nee THOMPSON) we have Kathleens Birth certificate and her parents marriage certificate as well as Gladys death certificate. We know George deserted Gladys and that is why she was placed into a home we are desperatly trying to find any relatives. We know that when Gladys died in 1945 she was with her sister R MEACHAM we also believe there was a cousin of Kathleens living at the same address (Rememberance Road) Please does this sound firmiliar to any one we are desperate to make a connection before its too late. |
