| This is a follow up to my search for the Jones/ Orton line. I also am trying to find any relatives decended from Daniel Gagin (possibly from Ireland) and Martha Cornes. My grandmother, Annie, was born in Monks Coppenhall, Cheshire, in December 1886. I learned she was raised under the name of Steele, so feel her father may have died, and her mum remarried. All I know is she ran off with my grand-dad. Stephen Jones, when she was around 16, had several children, and married in September 1815. (What a pair of rogues!) Still, family is family, and I would dearly love to find anyone decended from maybe a brother or sister of hers. |
