| I am looking for a chap call Jack (or John) Burgess who I was in the RAF with. Jack and I were in the RAF in Australia in 1956 on the Atomic Tests. Also with us were Peter Salter and Brian Missen. We were all trained at Telegraphists at RAF Cosford in 1953/4. I came to NZL in 1960 and am returning to the UK in August/September 2002 after being away 42 years to attend a RAF Reunion and would like to make contact with any of the three, especially Jack Burgess. I believe that Jack completed either 12 or 22 years in the RAF and he would be aged about 65 years now. I believe that he may (rpt) may have come from a village just north of Brighton but I am not sure. Any information on these three would help (including any deaths). It would be a shame to come so far and not catch up with them. |
