I am searching for Jasmine & Joanne Golightly(birthnames) for my husband James Maughan, who is there birth father. Jasmine & Joanne were born in 1972 & 1973 at The Firs Hospital, Bournemouth, Dorset. There were adopted by seperate families, one living in Branksome, Dorset the other in Lymington, Hants. One of the adoptions was handled by a Dr Varten of Westbourne, who was my husbands docter at the time. When I met my husband in 1984, he told me of Jasmine & Joanne immediately, and the circumstances of why they were adopted. He also told me that both girls had a letter to open at the age of sixteen, but he never knew if these letters were given. He does'nt know if they know about each other. We have a 16 year old daughter, and I know he thinks about the girls often. I have tried other sites, and will keep searching for them. He will be 50 in September and would love to be able to give him some information for his birthday. Please reply if you can help.
