| i am looking for relatives. my mother was adopted by smiths. may 30th 1930.she was born MARY on 29/8/1927 either in chester-le-street or ponteland. my mother was in cottage homes from birth until she was adopted.her father was the son of the doctor in chester-le-street and her mother was the maid to the doctor.adoption papers state she was adopted at county court of durham. ent no 10739/1875. her adopted name was margorie smith. |
