I am looking for information about a john william harris who was born around 1788. He came to new brunswick canada. He married a sarah elizabeth sutherland who was born 1791 in taymouth york co., n.b. They had a few children the two I know for sure were moses b around 1815 married johanna curtis, and elizabeth b around 1846 married david curtis. I was told that john was jewish. He turned anglican when he was 65. Other stories say he was from a wealthy family. Anything you can tell me will be great.
