Alex Dyer-Melville
i would like to find Alex Dyer-Maelville again because he was the torment of my young life in Zanzibar when we were both children there (1935-41)and that was when I last saw him. However many years later when I returned to East Africa I heard his name mentioned on the radio in connection with the East African Safari motor race. I was nursing in Nairobi at that time (1957) and was unable to contact him. It would be fun to finally catch up with him...I have never forgotten the chewing gum he put in my very curly hair (I was then about five and he must have been eight or nine) and the frantic hours of effort my mother put in to dislodge it! |
